This is a brand new, and active, club for 3D enthusiasts who take the great amount of time and effort to create wonderful 3D comics and graphic novels. It doesn't matter what program you use whether it be Poser, Daz Studio, Carrara, Manga Studio, or whatever you are still free to join. You are also free to join no matter what your skill level is. The goal of this group is for us to help each other improve both the art and the writing of the comics and graphic novels we so enjoy creating.

To Join

• Send a Note with the subject "Join" and why you want to join this club.



• Add the club to your deviantWatch.



• If you have a subscription: Add the 3D Comics Club logo to your journal using this code : icon3d-comics-club : (without the spaces between the ":")



• If you do not have a subscription: Add a link to the 3D Comics Club in your journal by making a text link to "3d-comics-club.deviantart.com"

To Submit

• Send a Note with the subject "Submission" along with the link (or links) to the page (or pages) of your 3D comic or graphic adventure here on deviantART. If it's unfinished, say so in the note.



• Please include the name of the program or programs you used in creating your comic or graphic adventure.



• Depending on the amount of submissions, I will post it to it's own folder in the club gallery as soon as is humanly possible. (I'm on the net all the time so this shouldn't be a problem.)

Requirements

• Since this is the "3D Comics Club" your comic must be made with a 3D program. It can be postworked to "look" like it was drawn by hand but it must have its basis in 3D.



• Layouts are unimportant to me. I use a very untraditional layout because it works for me. Arrange your frames however you wish and have as many pages to your "comic book" or "graphic novel" as you wish. I do not wish to limit anyone's creativity.



• All images MUST abide by the rules of deviantART. So, go read the dA terms of service and all their policies. If they're good with it, then so am I.

Rules

• I hate rules but we have to have some or there would be anarchy and anarchy isn't as cool as all the kids think. Since this club is new, we'll make stuff up as we go along.



• deviantART Rule: DO NOT FAV ANY CLUB SUBMISSIONS!!! dA doesn't like that. There will be links to the original deviation in every club listing so follow the link and fav and comment on the original, NOT the club submission. Clubs and club submissions are just to bring everyone together for help and exposure. So, to reiterate, COMMENT AND FAV THE ORIGINAL DEVIATION!!

• This club is brand new. We need members. Tell your friends. Post links on forums. Mention the club in chat rooms. (Don't spam though!) Let's all get together and have some fun while learning how to improve ourselves.

• I've really, REALLY busy working on my own graphic novels so things are a bit slow right now. I'll do my best to keep the group updated as often as possible. Now, send in those submissions!
